Sin and Grace
That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 5:21 KJV)
-Even though we all sin, God stills views us as righteous if we acknowledge those sins and attempt to correct them. He is the only one who will truly forgive a person!
Science is all about memorzing right?
Science in high school has changed so much over the last few decades. I read an article today by Julia Steiny from Providence, RI about how science teaches 4th graders how to write. In the past Steiny explains that science teachers have just drilled information into their students and have asked them to memorize facts. This isn’t science! Science is about reasoning and critical thinking and thinking outside the box and analyzing data and well, you get my drift. I think that our public school system needs to reevaluate why we are educating young men and women. If we ask them to constantly memorize dates and theories then we can guarantee we will not be assessing their intellectual skills, but if we help them become independent and synthesize information, then we will be creating the next generations great minds! It only takes a few people to make a difference in a young adults life; let’s start now!
The waters began to recede
And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth. (Genesis 8:11 KJV)
-This passage is so beautiful because not only can one take a literal meaning from it, but also a metaphoric one. There’s marvelous life in this world after a great catastrophe and it’s all because of our great creator.
Irony is… well irony!
Charter schools weren’t just unproven, they were destructive forces that siphoned away teachers, money and students from schools that would become further disadvantaged. And teachers desperately need the protection afforded them by tenure, because there is no proven system for evaluating them and determining which teachers should be forced out.

God distributed the flora and fauna of the earth…
And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. (Genesis 6:7 KJV)

-By teaching students to be critical thinkers, rather than asking them to take numerous tests, we can actually assess their skills!”
Ali may have had his faults, but he stood up for what he believed in! Something a lot of us cannot do..
Be proud of your faith!!
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. (Romans 1:16 KJV)
Our first mistake…
And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. (Genesis 3:6, 7 KJV)
